Terms of Use

With the Suzuki Europe Media Centre, registered members of the international media may download SUZUKI press material (press releases, images, videos, logos, etc) as a source for information and editorial reporting.

You may use the Suzuki Europe Media Centre by filling out the registration form and choosing your individual password. Please accept the following terms of use.

  1. Press Material
    1. 1.1 This website contains press material which is owned by or licensed to SUZUKI. It is protected by intellectual property laws including, but not limited to, copyright.
    2. 1.2 You may download and use Suzuki images, videos or other graphical material for press-related activities e.g. articles, press reports etc. only.
    3. 1.3 You are not permitted to use the press material for other commercial or advertising purposes.
    4. 1.4 You are not permitted to modify, change, adopt or otherwise alter the images, videos or other graphical material.
    5. 1.5 You are not permitted to pass on images, videos or other graphical material to third parties.
    6. 1.6 In case of use of images, videos or other graphical material downloaded from this website you shall cite SUZUKI as source or mark the images with the copyright sign (© SUZUKI).
    7. 1.7 The press material is provided in good faith and for general information and interest only. SUZUKI is not responsible for any inaccuracies and makes no representation and gives no warranty as to its accuracy. The press material should not be relied on and does not constitute any form of advice or recommendation.
  2. Protection of access data
    The log in data (ID, password) shall be kept at a safe place in order to avoid misuse.
  3. Privacy
    1. 3.1 SUZUKI saves the data specified by you during registration to the extent necessary and as long as
      • you do not unsubscribe and / or
      • SUZUKI is required to keep such data in accordance with applicable law.
    2. 3.2 The data is not passed on to third parties.
    3. 3.3 SUZUKI will not collect, submit to any third party or otherwise process your personal data for any purpose other than those set forth in this Section.
    4. 3.4 You may unsubscribe any time and have your access authorisation cancelled. A notice to this effect is to be sent to the following e-mail address: European-Press-Office@suzuki.de
    5. 3.5 In addition, our general Privacy Policy is applicable.
  4. Operator of the Website
    The Suzuki Europe Media Centre is operated and controlled by SUZUKI INTERNATIONAL EUROPE GMBH with registered office at Suzuki-Allee 7, D-64625 Bensheim, Germany. SUZUKI shall be entitled to block the access of users any time, if the terms and conditions of use of the Suzuki Europe Media Centre are infringed.
  5. Liability
    SUZUKI is unrestrictedly liable for intent, in the event of malicious concealment of defects or a warranty as to quality, for claims under the Product Liability Act and for claims based on injury to life, limb or health.
  6. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
    1. 6.1 The present of use are subject to German law.
    2. 6.2 Place of performance and place of jurisdiction shall exclusively be Darmstadt, Germany, if you are operating a commercial business ('Kaufmann' in the meaning of Section 1 (1) of the German Commercial Code).
  7. Severability
    If individual provisions of the present terms of use are void, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The void provisions shall be replaced by a provision which is effective and which comes as close as possible to the content and intent of the void provision, to the extent permitted by German law.
  8. Press Info Mail
    In order to stay up-to-date you may receive a press info mail incl. the latest press information about Suzuki. If you are not interested in the Suzuki press info mail, you may unsubscribe any time under MY MEDIA CENTRE (Profile).
